Rare Video Games
I got some great stuff in the month of February 2010. I finally bought a copy of Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. It’s one of my favorite games of all time and I have never owned the game myself. I decided it’s worth shelling out the extra money for the black label version on some of these rare video games rather than purchasing it on Xbox Live or PSN. I also picked up another game from my childhood: Light Crusader. I played this game on the Sega Channel when I was young and have never seen a copy since. Nice to have that one in my collection now. Some other games I bought from my childhood are Eternal Champions, Mega Man 3 and Summer Games.
My friend recommended I buy Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island and I finally found a cheap copy on ebay for $21 complete with box and manual. That’s well below the normal price, from what I can tell. I’ve completed about half of it so far and it’s really an excellent game. I got lots of other items that I show in the video, but those were the main games I was glad to get last month.
While I was searching around for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, I started seeing other rare video games like Panzer Dragoon Saga, Earthbound and many others. So now I’m trying to pick up some of these titles at a decent price but it doesn’t seem like it’s going to go well. Earthbound complete is going for $250+ and Panzer Dragoon Saga is $200+. Oh well, maybe some day.
