Xbox One & PS4 Release Dates Verified

Toys R Us has verified the release dates for Xbox One and PS4. The Xbox One will release on November 29, with the PS4 following on December 13. BT Games contacted Toys R Us to determine whether these dates were accurate and Toys R Us replied,"

Microsoft and Sony were keeping quiet on the subject but have released added these statements:

Microsoft "We have announced that Xbox One will launch this November, but have not shared any further details. It’s common practice for retailers to use placeholder dates for pre-order items without an official launch date. Please stay tuned to news.xbox.com, where we share the latest official details about all things Xbox One."

Sony "We haven't made any announcements other than coming this holiday season."

This will create quite a bit of excitement for the holiday season. Will Microsoft take the lead with the PS4 releasing so late in the holiday season or will the Xbox One DRM controversy give the holiday sales to Sony?
